Making too many passes with a float can overwhelm the surface with water, weakening the slab and increasing the likelihood of cracking. So, we usually make two passes.
We use the professional cleaning solution call Pioneer Eclipse. It is very good for the floor. Mix stripper with cold water per the following dilutions: Heavy coating removal: 1:4 (32 US oz per gallon/250 ml per 1 liter of water).
Apply solution liberally to the floor and allow to soak for 10 minutes ensuring the solution does not dry.
Scrub floor with automatic scrubber or stripping machine.
